We have a number of Protege offspring, with the earliest one Holly now producing her own cria. Holly was mated with Magnate and this combination produced a superb looking cria
All the Protege offspring are flourising. They have grown well and are consistent in appearance, with extremely fine and soft handling fleece. Their fleece stats are very pleasing with the Protege cria retaining excellent fineness into their second fleeces.
Magnate has now produced quite a number of crias, who all are very strong when first born and flourish and grow well. The cria are very attractive looking, consistent in appearance with great conformation. Their fleece is extremly dense and lustrous with a soft handle and great character. Magnate certainly seems to be adding improvement over the dams of the cria.
Hannah - one of the alpacas pictured below - has now a cria of her own. Hannah was mated with Currumbong Flash and the cria looks superb.
The cria in the photos are Hannah and Heather. The first set of two photos were taken when they were one week old, the next taken at approx 4 to 5 months old, and the third set at approx 9 to 10 months.
